Dubai Yacht Charter Prices: Every Rate for All 33 Yachts
Published hourly, half-day, full-day and overnight rates for our whole fleet, with what is included and what costs extra.
A private yacht charter in Dubai costs between AED 800 and AED 18,000 per hour on our fleet, and every price on this page includes VAT. We publish our rates so you have a benchmark before you speak to anyone, including us. These are our published rates: peak dates can cost more and weekdays are often cheaper, so your quote confirms the price for your date.
Key Takeaways
- Monaliza Yachts publishes rates from AED 800 per hour (48ft Azimut 48) to AED 18,000 per hour (136ft AK Royalty), VAT included.
- The lowest published charter costs AED 1,600: two hours on the Azimut 48.
- Length is only a rough guide to price. Two 64ft yachts in our fleet cost AED 1,800 and AED 11,000 per hour.
- You pay per yacht, not per person. At full capacity the hourly cost runs from about AED 37 per guest to AED 1,000.
- On every yacht except Plan B, half-day packages cost 6 to 33% less than the same hours at the hourly rate, and full-day packages cost 11 to 40% less.

Does a longer yacht always cost more?
No. Length explains only part of the price. We compared all 33 published rates, and yachts of the same length can differ by several times:
| Length | Lower rate | Higher rate |
|---|---|---|
| 64ft | Monaliza Java, AED 1,800/hr | Monaliza Lamborghini, AED 11,000/hr |
| 88ft | Monaliza Majesty 88, AED 2,500/hr | Monaliza San Lorenzo, AED 12,000/hr |
| 95ft | Monaliza Ali, AED 4,000/hr | Monaliza Princess, AED 12,000/hr |
| 115ft | Monaliza Gallus, AED 4,500/hr | Monaliza Santorini, AED 15,000/hr |
So compare the rate for the yacht itself. A quote based only on length tells you very little.
What does a yacht cost per person?
Charters are priced per yacht, so a full yacht costs each guest far less than a half-empty one. These figures divide the hourly rate by the yacht's maximum guests, so they show the best case. Across the fleet, the median is AED 120 per guest per hour.
| Yacht | Length | Maximum guests | Rate per hour | Per guest per hour |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Monaliza Azimut 50 | 50ft | 23 | AED 850 | About AED 37 |
| Monaliza Azimut 62 | 62ft | 29 | AED 1,550 | About AED 53 |
| Monaliza Majesty 88 | 88ft | 40 | AED 2,500 | About AED 63 |
| Monaliza Ali | 95ft | 58 | AED 4,000 | About AED 69 |
| Monaliza AK | 151ft | 120 | AED 8,500 | About AED 71 |
| Monaliza Thunder | 164ft | 50 | AED 15,000 | AED 300 |
The table shows why a large group should not rule out a superyacht. At its 120-guest limit, the 151ft AK works out close to the 40-guest Majesty 88. For any group, the cheapest choice is the lowest rate that fits everyone, and that is not always the smallest yacht. For 40 guests, the 88ft Majesty 88 costs AED 2,500 per hour, less than the 77ft Majesty 77 at AED 3,000 or the 75ft Azimut 75 at AED 3,200.
What is the minimum charter cost?
The minimum charter is 2 hours on yachts up to 95ft, 3 hours on yachts of 101ft and over, and 4 hours on Monaliza Plan B. That puts the lowest published charter at AED 1,600 on the Azimut 48 and the highest minimum at AED 54,000 on the AK Royalty, for 3 hours.
What affects the price of a Dubai yacht charter?
Five things decide what you pay:
- The yacht. This is the biggest factor, as the tables above show.
- Duration. The hourly rate is the highest rate. Half-day and full-day packages cost less per hour, apart from Plan B's 4-hour package.
- Season. October to April dates can cost more than May to September. New Year's Eve, National Day and Eid need early booking.
- Add-ons. Catering, entertainment and décor are priced separately.
- Route and departure. High-speed and custom offshore routes can add a fuel surcharge, special routes can add port fees, and departure from Palm Jumeirah West or Jumeirah Beach may add a relocation fee of AED 300 to 600.
For the seasons in more detail, see the best time to charter. New Year's Eve is quoted as a full evening, from AED 35,000 for a private charter, as our New Year's Eve guide explains.
What is included in the price?
Every charter price includes:
- A licensed captain and crew
- Fuel on the standard route within Dubai coastal waters: Dubai Marina, JBR, Bluewaters Island, Palm Jumeirah and Burj Al Arab
- Water, ice, soft drinks and towels
- WiFi and Bluetooth music
- Life jackets and safety equipment
Monaliza Yachts also carries comprehensive marine insurance.
What costs extra?
Extras are priced separately. These are the prices on our yacht and event pages:
| Extra | Price |
|---|---|
| DJ and sound system | AED 3,000 |
| Live acoustic musician | AED 3,000 |
| Photographer, 3 hours | AED 2,500 |
| Floral decoration | AED 1,500 |
| Balloon decoration | AED 800 |
| Custom celebration cake | AED 350 |
| Jet ski session, beyond any included with your yacht | AED 600 |
| Open bar | AED 70 per person per hour |
| On-deck BBQ package | AED 300 per person per hour |
| Food and catering | From AED 120 per person |
| Fireworks display | From AED 3,500 |
High-speed transit and custom offshore routes may carry a fuel surcharge, and special routes may carry port fees. Both are priced per route and shown in your quote. Extras vary by yacht, so check your yacht's page.
What would a full charter cost?
Here is a worked example for 20 guests on Monaliza Azimut 50 for 3 hours:
| Item | Sum | Cost |
|---|---|---|
| Charter | 3 hours at AED 850 | AED 2,550 |
| Open bar | 20 guests, 3 hours, AED 70 | AED 4,200 |
| Balloon decoration | Flat price | AED 800 |
| Total | AED 7,550 |
At published rates, that works out at about AED 378 per guest, VAT included. The charter itself is only a third of the total, so decide on your extras before you compare yachts.
Which yachts have the lowest hourly rates?
Three yachts in the fleet cost less than AED 1,000 per hour:
- Monaliza Azimut 48: AED 800 per hour, 48ft, up to 16 guests
- Monaliza Azimut 50: AED 850 per hour, 50ft, up to 23 guests
- Monaliza Luxury: AED 850 per hour, 50ft, up to 21 guests
Is a superyacht worth the price?
For a big group, it can be. With 50 guests on board, Monaliza Thunder costs AED 300 per person per hour and Monaliza AK costs AED 170. For the same 50 guests, the 95ft Monaliza Ali costs AED 80 each, so the higher rate mainly buys a much longer yacht, and Monaliza AK takes up to 120 guests. Weddings, large corporate events and milestone parties use that space well. If your group is small, one of the lower-rate yachts will usually give better value.
How can you lower the cost?
- Book a weekday. Tuesday to Thursday charters are often cheaper than Friday to Sunday.
- Book early. Holding a yacht with a deposit 3 or more weeks ahead gives you the widest choice, and peak holidays need 4 to 8 weeks.
- Compare rates, not lengths. Choose the lowest rate that fits your group.
- Take a package. If you want 6 hours or more, a half-day or full-day package costs less than the hourly rate.
- Add extras at booking. Photography, DJ and catering are often cheaper when bundled at the time of booking.
